Choosing the Vietnam Industrial Construction and Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company (ICO) means choosing reliability, efficiency, and a commitment to quality in every product and project. Consequently, developers place their trust in ICO as the contractor for major national-scale electrical system projects, such as those for the State Bank of Vietnam, Nhat Tan Bridge, and the Vietnam National Construction Consultants Corporation (VNCC). Notably, TSG Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company selected ICO as the contractor to construct the transformer station and 24kV medium-voltage underground cable line for the “TSG Lotus Sai Dong Mixed-Use Complex” project.

The TSG Lotus Sai Dong Mixed-Use Complex is located at 190 Sai Dong, Long Bien, Hanoi. It occupies a prime location within the Sai Dong apartment complex area, surrounded by bustling residential neighborhoods and major urban developments, offering quick and easy connectivity to the city center via three bridges: Long Bien, Vinh Tuy, and Thanh Tri.

Total area: 10,015 m², comprising a 25-story apartment building (with two basement levels), 21 shophouse units, a kindergarten, and a five-story commercial and office center.

To preserve the project’s aesthetic appeal, the transformer station is located within the basement of the TSG Lotus Sai Dong apartment building.

Sai Dong Real Estate Joint Stock Company has approved the technical plan—proposed by ICO Company—for connecting the power lines and transformer station to supply electricity to the project.

First, ICO will construct a new power supply line and transformer station for the “TSG Lotus Sai Dong Mixed-Use Complex” project, with a projected capacity of 2×1600 kVA. The medium-voltage line supplying the project’s transformer station will be connected to feeder 475 of substation E1.47 (Long Bien 110kV substation—specifically the section running from Sai Dong Circuit Breaker Cabinet 59 to Sai Dong Transformer Station 13).

The medium-voltage switchgear—an RMU (24kV, 630A, 16kA/s)—comprises four compartments featuring SF6 or vacuum insulation and is equipped with fault indicators, space heaters, gas pressure gauges, temperature sensors, and other required devices:

– Two 24kV, 630A, 16kA/s load-break switch compartments for incoming and outgoing cables.

– Two 24kV, 200A, 16kA/s circuit breaker compartments for cables connecting to the transformer.

On December 31, 2019, through tireless effort and dedication, the technical team at ICO—in collaboration with the Hanoi Power Corporation and Long Bien Power Company—successfully energized the connection point for the 3200kVA (22/0.4kV) transformer station at the “TSG Lotus Sai Dong Mixed-Use Complex” project.
